Dermott Hayes at Luxborough Lakes (Be Endurance) shared his expertise with FitPro magazine this month. Check out the fantastic article he wrote about cold water swimming.

Written by Dermott Hayes, a fulltime triathlon coach who has been involved in delivering open water swimming since 2010 at a host of venues. He has coached in the region of over 4,000 different swimmers. Currently Dermott manages Luxborough Lakes (Be Endurance) and delivers a number of multisport race events.

Luxborough Lakes (Be Endurance) is nestled amidst breathtaking natural surroundings in Chigwell, on the edge of London and Essex. This venue is open all year round and hosts a variety of swim sessions that cater for swimmers who are at the beginning of their open water journey, through to the experienced athletes that are performance training. Their Secret Mermaid Swims and new Doggie Dip sessions are particularly popular. The venue also takes part in NOWCA’s Sub10 Club. Excellent water quality and lifeguards at every session.
