VENUE MANAGER (VM) APP
An all-in-one app to support Venue Managers to easily manage sessions and swimmers:
- Ability for online and offline access (where the internet may not be immediately available).
- View sessions, activities, courses, and coaching.
- Real-time data about swimmer numbers in and out of the water.
- Set up and run timed events.

SAFETY WRISTBANDS & SCANNERS
One wristband for life!
All NOWCA members receive a free wristband.
This wristband is an important piece of kit:
- High quality wristband using RFID technology. They are also light weight, comfortable, and won’t impede your swimming.
- No battery required to charge wristband.
- Special scanners are used to read the wristband.
- Fast check-in and out for your swim – simply tap-in to start and tap-out to finish and log your swim distance.
- Tapping will log your swim stats to your profile.
- Venues can scan your wristband for quick access to emergency contacts & critical medical info in case of an incident.
- Information is updated digitally via the ACTiO app.
- Your wristband is automatically activated when you sign up/renew your NOWCA membership (even if your membership has lapsed for years!)

NOWCA WILD APP
Our newest app will help to bring the wild swimming community even closer together.
The NOWCA Wild app will support your safety in the wild:
- Automated notification to your designated contact so someone knows where you are swimming.
- Identify associated risks for your swim such as water quality, pollution, accessibility, tides, etc.
- Get expert advice, recommended reading, and safety guidance about your swim spot to ensure you can make an informed decision before you get in the water.
- Discover lakes, rivers, beaches, and all forms of swimming spots around the UK.
- Save your favourites or pin your swim spots and share them with the community including photos, information about the location such as facilities, accessibility, water quality, etc.
- Rate your swim and flag the risks to help other wild swimmers.
- Manage the privacy settings of your personal profile as well as secret swim spots.
- Save your swim stats & keep track of your journey including location, start and finish time, water temperature, swim distance, and photos.
- Fully integrated with NOWCA’s robust systems for seamless swimming at managed venues and in the wild.
- Find local swimming groups and join them for a wild swim!Eventually, groups will also be able to organise and manage meet ups and events easily using NOWCA Wild.
