The NOWCA Awards program celebrates your passion and commitment to safe open water swimming. It runs all year round and tallies every swim you complete at a location within the NOWCA Venue Network.
When you reach an Awards milestone, you will be eligible to receive a silver band, gold band, or a swim badge.
There is no fee to join – all NOWCA members are automatically eligible for an award.
All open water swimming activities are included in your swim stats and are not restricted to any one venue – it is a cumulative total from all your swims at any venue within the NOWCA network.
You must have tapped in and tapped out for your swims to be counted.
Swimming ‘Events’ are not eligible for this program.
All award bands and badges can be collected at any venue.

You can check your swim tally anytime on the ACTiO app.
Simply log in and head to the Profile section to view your total swims.
If you’ve reached an Award milestone, simply show your swim stats to the venue and claim your award band/badge.

RED BAND Start your jounrey
All members start with a red band.
SILVER BAND 50 swims
Reach 50 swims and get a silver band.
GOLD BAND 100 swims
Reach 100 swims and get a gold band.
GREEN BADGE
250 swims
Collect at any venue.
PURPLE BADGE
500 swims
Collect at any venue.
ORANGE BADGE
750 swims
Collect at any venue.
BLUE BADGE
1000 swims
Collect at any venue.
