STA LEVEL 2 OPEN WATER COACHING QUALIFICATION

This 3-day course is delivered by our professional training partner, Comfort Academy. Created by STA’s open water swimming experts, this qualification meets CIMSPA’s employer-led coach professional standard.

BECOME A LIFEGUARD

RLSS OPEN WATER LIFEGUARD (OWL) QUALIFICATION

This 3-day course is delivered by NOWCA’s team of Trainer-Assessors. Developed by the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK, the OWL qualification can be used to supervise and provide rescue cover for planned, organised and risk assessed activities in still, non-tidal water.

LIFEGUARD RENEWAL

RLSS OWL RENEWAL COURSE

This 2-day course is delivered by NOWCA’s team of Trainer-Assessors. Suitable for lifeguards who are due to renew their existing OWL certification. If your qualification has expired, you must re-qualify by completing the full 3-day OWL qualification course.

LIFEGUARD ASSESSMENT

2 HOUR OWL RENEWAL ASSESSMENT

These 2-hour assessments are delivered by NOWCA’s team of Trainer-Assessors. Suitable for those with a current OWL qualification that expires after the assessment date. You must have completed 10 hours of CPD training prior to the assessment.
