London tri show 2019
NOWCA SWIM ZONE AT THE LONDON TRIATHLON SHOW
Friday 29th – Sunday 31st March 2019
NOWCA Tri Show Swim Sessions
We will be running FREE open water swimming sessions in a special swimmers area in the Royal Victoria Dock – right outside ExCel. Sessions will be available:
• Friday 10am – 3pm
• Saturday 1pm – 5pm
• Sunday 1pm – 4pm
(Please note you must have a valid London Triathlon Show ticket to swim in these sessions).
NOWCA London Royal Docks Swim Sessions
Try our open water swimming for FREE at London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming. Sessions are available during these times:
• Friday 4pm – 8pm
• Saturday 9am – 12pm
• Sunday 9am – 12pm
(Please note you must have a valid London Triathlon Show ticket to swim in these sessions).
NOWCA SWIMS
NOWCA Swim Sessions (a FREE weekly open water swim, a bit like a parkrun but in a lake, of a 400m loop at London Royal Docks) will be held:
• Friday 5pm start
• Saturday 11.30am start
• Sunday 11.30am start
NOWCA Aquathlon
The FREE NOWCA Aquathlon (400m swim and 3k run) will be held in Royal Victoria Dock, just outside ExCel. It will run on:
• Saturday 12.30pm start
• Sunday 12.30pm start
(Please note you must have a valid London Triathlon Show ticket to swim in these sessions).
Please register for the Aquathlon at our stand TR1781 before 11am.

Connect with our partners at the Triathlon Show
- EFAMS – Our partners at EFAMS will be providing a water safety team for all the Triathlon Show swim zone sessions so you can be reassured when you enter the water.
- Zone3 – Zone3 will be selling their wetsuits and accessories from their stand TR1670 (not far from NOWCA’s). Want to try before you buy? Zone3 will have selection of wetsuits and accessories for you to try in our swim zone, just outside ExCel, in Royal Victoria Docks.
- Swimzi – Try out our partner’s XK swimzi (their amazing technical pre and post race weather proof jacket) on our stand.
- Swerve Cycling – our partners at Swerve will provide samples of their anti-chafing cream for cyclists, at the Triathlon Show. Come to our stand to get a free sample.
- Swim Secure – Our partners at Swim Secure will have their excellent selection of dry-bags and tow-floats on their stand at the London Triathlon Show – visit them at TR1280.
- Marathon Swims – We may have a special offer from our partners at Marathon Swims – but you’ll have to come to our stands to find out!
- Outdoor Swimmer – Ever wondered what’s in an issue of these fun-filled and informative magazines? Come to our stand and have a browse through one of their issues.
- SwimTrek – Our partners at SwimTrek have got some fabulous swimming holidays planned for 2019! Come to our stand to find out where your next adventure can take you.
How to find us:
Please follow the NOWCA signage on the day but here is an idea of the locations for the open water swimming and Aquathlon sessions:
- Royal Victoria Dock sessions will be held at Royal Victoria Dock, Royal Docks, London, E16 1SL. It’s literally just outside the Excel building.
- London Royal Docks Open Water Swimming sessions will be held at 27 Western Gateway, Royal Docks, London E16 1FA. It’s a short walk along the dock to get to.
* You must have a valid NOWCA safety wristband to attend the FREE sessions. Please check here to make sure your band is up to date before attending the Triathlon Show (don’t forget to check/update your personal & medical information whilst you’re on there).
Don’t have a NOWCA safety wristband yet?
Register for your band (use ‘LRDOWS’ as your local venue). For just £12 a year, you can enjoy all this open water swimming at the show and the opportunity to swim at any of our NOWCA venues nationwide (swim session prices apply). Come to the Tri Show and and collect your band at the NOWCA stand (TR1781) to activate the free sessions.
