NEW VENUE: Orchard Holiday Park & Fishery joins the NOWCA network!

Open water swimming is officially underway!

Orchard Holiday Park & Fishery at New House Farm is a family run touring caravan park and fishery in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire. Nestled in the idyllic countryside of Worcestershire, this venue attracts fly fishing anglers, walkers and bird watchers – or those who want to simply relax and enjoy the countryside surroundings.

Already well known for the trout fly fishing, camping and caravan rallies – they now add open water swimming to that list.

Open water wild swim sessions take place in their beautiful 0.3 acre nursery pool, just 2.5 miles from Tenbury Wells. The venue allows swimmers to enjoy a peaceful swim, well away from main roads.

And just so there’s no surprises – the pool is home to the trout! These beautiful fish pose no danger and generally will keep away from you when you are swimming.

Sessions are currently limited but more will be added as the community grows. All sessions are lifeguarded and the venue will offer up to 130m swim loop.

Your entry to the lake will be guided by a rubber-matted slope with a handrail.

Facilities at the venue include free onsite parking, toilets and showers, and a large outdoor area for changing (though swimmers are encouraged to arrive swim-ready).
