NEW VENUE: Swim The Wight joins the NOWCA network… AT THREE LOCATIONS!

We are proud to welcome another affiliated venue to our network of 40+ safe open water locations.

Swim The Wight is a social enterprise on the Isle of Wight their mission is to make swimming in the seas around the island as accessible, safe and enjoyable as possible. They’ve now implemented the NOWCA safety system to help them achieve even safer sea swimming.

Victoria Thorneton-Field, one of the founders of Swim The Wight, said: “We want an island where anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of ‘blue health’ is able to do so. We want to promote a happy island!”

Led by sea swimmers, for sea swimmers, you will find sessions happen in all weathers, as long as it is judged safe to do so on the day. Swims are hosted several times a week with safety cover. Whether you swim, dip, or bob, you can join their sessions all year round at three locations:

Yaverland / Sandown Bay

cross-channel certification. Expertise, enthusiasm, fun and support will be offered to everyone and anyone who wants to try sea swimming in a safe environment, improve mental and physical health, to widen your social circle and be part of a fast growing group of crazy but fun loving people.
