Peak Open Water Sports - Oulton Broad Water Sports Centre

Set within the attractive surroundings of Nicholas Everitt Park in Lowestoft, OBWSC is a welcoming, charity-run watersports facility offering a wide range of activities for individuals, families and groups. Positioned alongside the water in a well-loved public park, the venue provides an accessible and community-focused setting for getting active outdoors.

For the 2026 season, open water swimming sessions are delivered in partnership with Peak Open Water Sports, creating a structured and supportive environment for swimmers of all abilities. Whether new to open water or building confidence, sessions are designed to help participants feel comfortable and capable in the water.

Alongside swimming, the centre offers a variety of instructor-led watersports, with equipment hire available and activities delivered by fully qualified RYA and British Canoeing instructors. This makes it an ideal destination for those looking to try something new or enjoy time on the water with expert guidance.
